**Job Responsibility**:
**Role purpose**:
The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment. The individual will work closely with developers, testers, product owners and other scrum masters. The individual is expected to have sound knowledge of the scaled agile ecosystem (SAFE) and contribute in the scrum of scrums.

The individual should have a strong understanding of agile processes along with behavioural qualities like team management, stakeholder management, impediment resolution etc.

**To succeed, the Scrum Master must**:

- Lead the project in an agile manner.
- Successfully manage timelines, resolve impediments and coach team members on agile methodologies.
- Working in coordination with other scrum masters to resolve dependencies, address risks in program level SAFE agile framework.
- Tracking and recording various metrics and reports like burn down chart, defect density etc.
- Coaches the team to be more self-organized based on SAFE methodology.
- Work closely with various stakeholders like POs, scrum masters, RTE etc.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the members of the team.
- Participate in the scrum of scrums and drive process improvements.
- Lead ceremonies like PI Planning, Sprint planning, Dailies, Retro, Sprint demo etc.
- Prepare and share sprint reports for the stakeholders.
- Estimate and plan for the whole software development project along with team. Forecast the number of deliverable possible in an iteration based on evidence. Build and maintain a healthy product backlog for team.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3+ years of experience in scrum master role, 10+ years in relevant field.
- 1+ years of experience in SAFe.
- Certified in Scrum Master and SAFe.
- Salesforce background is preferred
- Knowledge of various metrics like burn down chart, defect density, Salesforce knowledge, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively especially in an onsite/offshore setup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science.
- German and English speaking is a plus.
