**Position Purpose**:
The role holder will lead a team of Digital Sales & Marketing and is responsible for strategizing and overseeing seamless implementation of all Marketing & Sales initiatives so as to position Jivagro as a preferred brand in the market The role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies for branding sales promotion & improve your sales performance. ensuring they are efficient and effective.

**Strategic Responsibilities**:

- Performing market research, identifying potential customer groups, and recommending marketing outreach campaigns using digital media.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals._ _
- Analyzing various lead & lag indicators monthly, quarterly and yearly to track BU’s progress (Budgeting & forecasting, Variance analysis etc.)

**Operational Responsibilities**:
**Operational**
- Developed and maintained Sales dashboard( sales analytics reports & dashboards) to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision making for the sales & marketing growth unit & executive leadership teams.
- Monitoring & Managing cross-functional teams for various Business Transformation & Process Automation Projects.
- Designing the modules suited to different departmental needs with the IT team and departmental head.
- Imparting training to users and providing handholding until the team becomes proficient in the launched module
- Working with the leadership team on the design and deployment of business excellence objectives

**Reporting**
- Define, track and publish to relevant stakeholder’s performance of key metrics for Marketing & Sales.

**Others**
- Ensure compliance to statutory & organization policies including safety, health, environment & audit, for all marketing initiatives (for example, labelling requirements, communication material, content)_ _
- Ensure resolution of all escalated issues in Marketing & Sales Department.

**Financial Responsibilities**:
Ensure efficient and effective marketing spends for Agri Inputs Business.

**People Responsibilities**:

- Review staffing requirements for the Marketing & Sales function with HR, and ensure staffing as per plan (for example, staffing of critical positions, lead time for recruitment)
- Ensure rigorous identification of training needs for the Marketing & Sales team, and execution as per plan, in collaboration with HR
- Develop strong succession plan for key Marketing & Sales positions, in collaboration with HR
- Review and ensure adherence to initiatives identified for career development of team members (for example, individual development plan, cross functional exposure, job rotation)
- Coach and motivate the Marketing & Sales team for superior performance, through effective coaching, rewards and recognition initiatives
- Review employee grievances in the Marketing & Sales team and ensure resolution, In collaboration with HR

**Education Qualification**:
B.Sc(Agri) /M.Sc(Agri ) and MBA with specialisation in

Marketing (or) Advertising and Business management

**Work Experience**:

- 15-20 years experience in agro chemical sales and marketing.
- Should have a minimum of 5 plus years experience in leading a Marketing & Sales team, with proven experience of successfully launching block buster molecules
- Prior Marketing & Sales experience preferred

- Excellent Knowledge of marketing principles (tools and techniques, marketing communication, roll out methodologies, effectiveness measures)
- Excellent product knowledge - in terms of product offerings, technical know-how, features, benefits)
- Working Knowledge of market research tools and techniques, product life cycle management.
- Knowledge of the budgeting process
