Administrator - Data Governance & Reporting

**Overview**

Working within a small team and reporting into the manager of Data Governance and Reporting, as Data Governance and Reporting Administrator you will help develop and maintain system and reporting solutions for business teams and to external clients. Where required, you may also act as Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the business to help support key business projects and change initiatives.

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**

Strategic Focus
- Ensure all client reporting is delivered accurately against agreed service levels, KPI’s identified and appropriate business commentary included for sharing with key stakeholders
- Help maintain the Integrity of data loaded to our Data Warehouse
- Support and review business system changes, ensuring business accuracy around all documentation
- Assisting colleagues and working within a team in support of department goals, demonstrating ability to work collaboratively and with a strong team spirit.
- Respond to enquiries promptly, proactively handling issues, and striving for the highest levels of customer service.

Operational Management
- Create KPI Packs and Registers and completing all activities associated to it as agreed.
- Vetting, checking, packs and registers and updating them in required systems.
- Updating and maintaining the accuracy of the data for the packs, registers, backups, evidence, etc.
- Provide information to UK counterpart on request.
- Assist in resolving complaints and solve problems on behalf of IMD, ACD, Custodian, Trustee, etc.
- Identify and fulfil the requirements of regulations within own work responsibilities.
- To develop and maintain positive working relationships with UK team and key contacts.
- Create and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and assist other areas of the business as and when required.
- Maintain an awareness and understanding of the investment industry / Capital market.
- Maintain own professional competence.
- Each member of staff has responsibility to adhere to Fund Solutions’ policies and procedures. In particular to ensure operational controls are carried out in accordance with laid down procedures, to ensure the ongoing mitigation of business risk. In this regard regular training should be agreed with the departmental manager / team leader.

- Need to raise queries / concerns with the Team Leader / Operations Manager after all the investigation.
- Need to follow escalation matrix at all the time.
- Highlight risks or breaches to seniors as and when they appear.

Governance & Risk
- Ensure that the compliance monitoring programme designed to assess all regulated activities with appropriate frequency, is supported by prompt management action.
- Ensure that all incidents are reported, and issues identified.
- Ensure that issues, once identified, are resolved.

The above list of key accountabilities is not an exhaustive list and may change from time to time based on business needs. In addition, as the role is part of a global team travel and flexibility to work outside standard hours may be required in this role.

Desirable
- Knowledge of UK fund legislation, Fund Administration and Transfer Agency
- Relevant regulatory exams (e.g. Investment Operations Certificate)
