**Azure Data Modeler**

**Job Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai / Noida/ Gurgaon / Pune / Indore / Mumbai**

**Roles**:

- Develop and design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler.
- Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and suggest improvements.
- Define and document data standards, naming conventions, and data integration strategies.
- Conduct data modeling reviews and provide recommendations for improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
- Participate in data modeling tool selection, implementation, and maintenance.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and other related documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database design.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data modelers or other team members.

**Responsibilities**:

- At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in Azure Stack and 8+ years as Data Modeller
- Proven experience as a data modeler with expertise in ERwin tool.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Familiarity with data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data structures.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, ability to work directly with client and to lead junior team members

**Must have**:

- Extensive experience in ERwin tool
- Microsoft Azure BI Stack (ADF, Azure Databricks)
- Big Data Technologies, Relational & Non-relataional database knowledge
- Experience in Azure Analytics and DevOps
- Any Cloud Platforms, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Tools
- Data Visualization Tools

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with data modeling in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Certifications in data modeling or database administration are desirable.
- Being versatile with multiple tools can help you adapt to different environments and client preferences.
- Any Version Control Systems
- Visio or similar tool experience
