Required Technical and Professional Experience:

- 7+Years of experience in working as a Data Engineer, focusing on cloud modernization and advanced data handling practices.
- Proficiency in data modelling, including the ability to create conceptual models of how data is connected and utilized in business processes.
- Experience with data modelling tools and techniques, including software such as Erwin.
- Strong SQL skills to develop, query, and manage data effectively.
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Elastic Certified Engineer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- General understanding of IT topics through technical education or practical job experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented approach to data modelling, analysis, and process optimization.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

- Familiarity with social coding platforms and Integrated Development Environments, such as GitHub and Visual Studio.
- Open Certified Technical Specialist with Data Engineering Specialization or equivalent credentials.
- Experience implementing and managing cloud-based data solutions and modern data pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or Information Technology.
