Role: Major Incident Manager 1. Has the mandate to enforce the process within Sandvik IT, and to require resources necessary in the execution of the process. 2. Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the incident management process 3. Manages Ma jor Critical Incidents (End to End) 4. Is the main coordinator and the focal point for all things that has to do with the process for the IT organization and the sourcing partners. 5. Participate in Incident Life cycle management activity. Educate an d guide different resolver teams to improve the way of handling Incidents. 6. Participate in Incident Management education, communication and rollout of the process within the IT organization. # include toll & process 7. Promote awareness and knowled ge about the process and its importance to the Sandvik organization 8. Is a member of the global process management team, and is an essential contributor in its improvement. 9. Participate in collecting and reporting feedback in the development of th e process and tool. 10. Report and advisory work for responsible resolver teams on KPIs 11. Participate in different process related forums. 12. Chair operational forum for day to day execution of the process. 13. Liase with suppliers, contractors, etc. to ensure that third parties fulfill their contractual obligations. 14. Monitoring the effectiveness of incident management and making recommendations for improvement Desirable Has worked in an ITIL organization before Has knowledge experienc e of major critical incident management Has experience of process improvement Experience of training groups of people Has worked in a high-pressure environment Has managed and liaised with suppliers (Supplier Management).
