Project Control Executive

**Responsibilities**:

- Hands on planning, scheduling, administration and controls. Involved in all planning and scheduling functions including the development, maintenance, updates and analysis of the integrated schedules for engineering, procurement, and construction projects;
- Ensures that regular update reports detailing status, performance, critical paths, and analysis; are provided to the responsible managers
- Monitors and analyzes resource utilization;
- Use of Primavera P6 scheduling software; Microsoft Project
- Interface with Customer on schedule integration and other issues as required
- Develop understanding of the scope of work, schedule, estimate and
- procurement/contracting plan for assigned projects
- Participate in establishment of project coding in cooperation with estimating and
- planning. Convert the estimate into the control budget.
- Establish and maintain project in the cost control database (standard software).
- Using data provided by Engineering Leads establish engineering progress
- measurement formats in engineering progress measuring system (standard software).
- Establish and maintain project change control system
- Process information about commitments, actual cost, forecasts and changes supplied by procurement, construction, planning, engineering and estimating to produce reliable project cost reporting and forecasting.
- Collect progress data from engineering and process engineering progress reports
- Prepare Projects summary reports, work closely with billing specialist on monthly invoices
- Produce clear and concise cost reports and graphs. Generate cash flow reports as directed by Project Controls Manager
- Analyze variances between budgets and forecasts. Inform project management about cost trends and propose appropriate recommendations.
- Assemble resource and revenue projections reports, projects auditing reports, cash flow reports, utilization reports for the Division Management as directed by the Manager of Project Controls.
- Perform other cost related functions as assigned by the Project Controls Manager

**Qualifications**:

- 5-10 years experience in project controls with intermediate level experience in planning, scheduling and costing is considered an asset
- A University degree in a related field;
- Must have extensive experience working on large projects preferably in the Energy sector;
- Must be proficient with MS Project and Primavera P6, as well as MS Access, Excel, and Word;
- Must have exceptional organizational skills and strong written and oral communication skills;
- Must work well in a diverse team environment;
- Previous experience in an engineering consulting environment providing services to utilities industry would be considered an asset
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Previous T&D experience is considered an assetResponsibilities:
