**Organization Profile** :School provides holistic education to 1,400 children from pre-primary to higher secondary level. The school provides affordable education to children from rural communities in Vellore on the outskirts of Coimbatore. Our mission and endeavor are to provide consistent quality education to children and youth in a nurturing environment

Looking for a Vice Principal who is passionate about education and is committed to helping every student succeed. We want someone who is innovative and isnt afraid to take risks to improve the educational experience for our students. We need a leader who is able to work with different stakeholders and build consensus to achieve our goals.

**Vice Principal Duties**:

- Assist the Principal with hiring, training and onboarding of all new staff
- Assist the Principal with curriculum development and assessment
- Develop and manage procedures for student discipline
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, and community involvement
- Participate in professional learning activities, and continually seek ways to better classroom effectiveness

**Vice Principal Responsibilities**:

- Develop, initiate, and oversee a variety of programs and activities, including tracking the schools progress, evaluating and monitoring the compliance of programs, determining staffing and resource needs, and developing and evaluating instructional programs and procedures
- Communicate job expectations, goals, and objectives to personnel, establish and maintain effective working relationships, and determine work assignments
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Remaining active and visible on field trips and during school functions

**Requirements And Skills**:

- Masters degree in education or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Experience in supervising the operations of a school
- Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills
- Ability to handle and advice disciplinary hearings
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proven ability to establish goals and effectively meet deadlines
- Knowledge of state laws **CBSE Board exams and assessment patterns**

We are looking for an outstanding professional of either gender, now located in any part of the world.
Reporting to the Principal, the VPs responsibilities will be fungible with those of the Principal.
S/he would be a Principal in waiting.
