**Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Procurement Head**

**Job Summary**:
The **Material Controller** is responsible for managing the flow of materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, timely procurement, and efficient distribution to support construction operations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring materials are available when needed for ongoing projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, conduct regular stock audits, and update inventory databases.
- **Material Procurement Coordination**: Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of construction materials.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect incoming materials for compliance with specifications, ensuring they meet quality standards before storage or distribution.
- **Warehouse Organization**: Oversee proper storage, labelling, and handling of materials to optimize space and accessibility.
- **Supplier Coordination**: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to track deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- **Project Support**: Collaborate with construction teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely availability for ongoing projects.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Ensure adherence to warehouse safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- **Reporting & Documentation**: Generate reports on stock levels, material usage, and procurement trends for management review.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management**, Logistics, Business Administration**, or a related field (preferred).
- **2+ years** of experience in material control, warehouse management, or inventory coordination in the **construction industry**.
- Strong knowledge of **construction materials** and their handling requirements.
- Proficiency in **inventory management software** ERP systems.
- Excellent **organizational and problem-solving skills**.
- Ability to work in a **fast-paced environment** and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹40,000-50000 per month
