Job Descriptions

1. All responsibilities assigned to a person holding the post of Probation and Child Welfare Officer under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015.

2. To maintain coordination with Child Welfare Committee and Offices of Women and Child Development Department.

3. Preparing programs with the help of other colleagues in the children's home for maintenance, health, education and rehabilitation of the children admitted to the children's home.

4. To distribute and supervise the work of the other colleagues of orphanage.

5. To control the financial transactions and facilities to be provided to the new entrants.

6. Regular maintenance of the building, immovable and movable assets of the children's home with the help of other colleagues in the children's home.

7. If there is any serious incident or situation regarding the orphanage, inform the basic guardian organization of the orphanage and take appropriate action after taking their advice.

8. To provide necessary information and cooperation to the visitors coming to visit the children's home in accordance with the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act.

9. To maintain coordination with various educational institutions, public and government offices, health department, and mainly families of the entrants for holistic development of new entrants.

10. Maintaining regular contact and communication with the entrant is very important and a priority duty.

11. To maintain the children's home with the feeling that we are the head of the family and consider the colleagues at the institution as our family members. All these are important duties of Head of Balgruh/Probation Officer/Child Welfare Officer.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
