Assistant - Transport Modeler

Strategic modelling using Saturn or VISUM software.
- Understanding of supporting tools e.g. GIS, Excel VBA and Python
- Detailed knowledge to UK Transport Planning and modeling guidelines
- Understanding of software’s theories and limitations
- Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables
- Coordinate with Senior Engineers and support graduates in the team
- Research and review design options for both technical and economic impact
- Support line manager in planning resource needs and escalate as required if there are resource or utilization concerns
- Support the company’s approach to sustainability
- Attend and contribute in team and project meetings
- Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline
