About the role:
- Manages Accounts Receivable Cash Application process.-
- Strong knowledge in payment research and SOX audits requirements.- Maintain complete documentation accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.- Collaborate with Treasury, Collections, FPNA and Projects teams to suggest technical solutions to business process problems.- Perform special projects upon request from all levels of management.- Post ACH, wire transfer and Check deposits to appropriate GL cash accounts and reconcile daily cash balance to general ledger.- Posting of Bank payments/charges, FX payments and Intercompany journal entries appropriate GL account- Researching Unidentified payments by working with internal team and Bank as necessary- Reviewing Unapplied payments on Daily basis and posting upon receipt of disbursement- Laise with AR Collections team to ensure payments remittance are received and shared in a timely manner.- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and general journal entries related AR when required.-
- Performing Monthly Bank Reconciliation at month end, reconciling General ledger balance to Bank statement- Performing monthly reporting of unallocated cash to the appropriate general ledger.

Core Competencies:
- Commerce/Finance graduate / MBA Finance/Accounting degree-
- Sound Accounting knowledge and understanding.Understanding of ERP. NetSuite experience is preferred.- Good Analytical & Problem-solving skills apart from an understanding of business accounting.-
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to interface and establish rapport with all levels of the organization including executive team members.- Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks within mínimal supervision.- Must have excellent work habits, including the willingness to work the hours necessary to meet important financial deadlines- Proficiency in MS office skills, specifically MS Excel and MS Word, intermediate level in Excel, including proficiency with vlookups and pivot tables a plus. Knowledge of NetSuite is preferable.- Experience with a “Shared Service Center” will be a big plus.
