Job Description:
The Fire and Safety Officer / EHS Officer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing fire safety protocols and procedures within the organization. The primary focus will be on ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets from fire hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement fire safety plans, procedures, and protocols in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments and inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate fire safety training programs for employees, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and the use of fire extinguishers and other safety equipment.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to establish emergency response protocols and procedures for fire incidents.
- Maintain and update fire safety equipment, including fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and emergency lighting, to ensure functionality and readiness.
- Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Liaise with external regulatory agencies, fire departments, and emergency services to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on fire safety best practices and procedures.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in fire safety and emergency management to continuously improve safety standards within the organization.
- Prepare and submit reports on fire safety performance, compliance status, and incidents to management as required.
