Helper Job Description

**Job Title**: Helper / General Laborer

**Job Summary**: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Helper to assist our skilled tradespeople and technicians on various projects. The Helper will be responsible for a range of tasks, including preparing work areas, moving materials, cleaning sites, and assisting with basic tasks as instructed. This role is essential for supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist skilled workers, such as welders, fitters, and electricians, with their daily tasks.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from the work area.
- Prepare and clean work sites by removing debris, trash, and old materials.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced workers.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other general labor tasks as needed to support project completion.

**Qualifications**:

- No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures is a plus.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
