Breakingviews, the agenda-setting financial commentary arm of Reuters, is looking for an editorial assistant to support our U.S. team.

What you’ll need:

- Fluent English and a keen eye for detail
- Bundles of energy and an ability to learn new skills quickly
- An understanding of, or serious interest in, business, finance and economics
- Some experience of copy-editing and familiarity with the Reuters style guide

The role will involve:

- Daily production of Breakingviews columns on multiple publishing platforms
- Monitoring financial and corporate news and preparation of regular news trawls
- Sourcing data to help create eye-catching charts and graphics
- Learning how to produce Breakingviews podcasts
