Job Title: Buyer, Indirect Procurement

Location: Bangalore, India

Department: Supply Chain

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement Process Management:
oManage the end-to-end procurement process for Indirect goods and services, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.

oDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality service and value for the company.

oMonitor market trends and conduct supplier assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Sourcing & Negotiation:
oSource and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.

oNegotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.

oEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures during the procurement process.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support in achieving their goals.

Work closely with the finance team to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
- Contract Management:
Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Manage supplier performance and address any issues that may arise during the contract period.
- Reporting & Analysis:
Track and report on key procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance.

Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Indirect Procurement
- Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Knowledge of contract law and compliance requirements.

Knowledge of ERP Tools(Coupa, SAP Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
- Experience in Indirect Procurement/Supply Chain.
