R&D Scrum Master facilitates Agile & Dev-Cloud-Sec-Ops Software Development Process. Supports & Coaches the scrum team, product team, leadership, QE CoE by facilitating project logistics such as cross team collaboration, release management, reporting, process improvements, people & culture transformation leading to high quality product development with speed, thus bringing overall agility to the development, delivery, monitoring, implementation of quality software along with services & support.

**Essential Job Duties**
- Scrum Master should be able to perform below functions remotely or in Hybrid model
- Iteration Governance
- Secures the SPRINT goal and secure its relevance
- Shields the team from external interference
- Facilitate & mentor the team to be self-managed and to continuously improve or raise the bar
- Ensuring Working agreements, DoD (Definition of Done) are agreed and followed at all levels
- Ensures SPRINT readiness with appropriate DoR (Definition of Ready) in place
- Helps in providing end to end governance of the product roadmaps
- Remove impediments
- Analyze and effectively report on project metrices, predictability, progress, risk & dependencies
- Impediment Management
- Work with the cross functional teams to identify, articulate, and manage project dependencies, risks & issues
- Tracking all the impediments to closure
- Metrices and Governance
- Ensure team is thinking and practices shift-left mindset
- Participate in maintaining Org / Program / Team level KPIs & metrices
- Contribute to developing metrices and simplifying them by doing automation
- Contribute to creating presentations for teams / stakeholders etc.
- Defect & ticket governance - Production readiness, deployment status monitoring etc.
- Team Management
- Assist team to follow professional scrum & coaching/mentoring team on agile mindset
- Always be on top of team’s capacity; working with leadership and create transparency
- Helps in improving efficacy (efficiency & effectiveness together)
- Facilitates all the Scrum Events taking time zones of the distributed teams composition into consideration
- Communication
- Represents the team in coordinating with other product teams wherever necessary
- Ensures Sprint & program level dashboards and reports are in place and showing accurate & latest data
- Becomes change agent & drive changes; effective change management
- Release Management
- Facilitates release planning with Products, Sales, Marketing and R&D teams, as applicable
- Helps developing release plans, sign-offs etc.
- Tools Administration
- Jira/Confluence or any other tools - Assist teams in creating boards, dashboards; creating new workflows and editing existing ones; creating filters; troubleshooting etc.
- Doing PoCs of latest tools which will enable better facilitation, reporting & create transparency

**Knowledge, Skills, and/or abilities required**
- ** Must Have**
- Servant Leadership or Leader who serves mindset
- Should have ability to play multiple roles as and when required - Coach, Mentor, Facilitator, Change Agent, Impediment Remover & Teacher (Enabler)
- Working and Hands-On experience in Scrum, Kanban, Lean (Good to Have)
- Should be able to work with remotely with different time zone stakeholders
- Ability to communicate technical or non-technical information to all kinds of stakeholders
- Proficient in Tools like JiRA, Confluence & Microsoft office products
- Understanding of the full SDLC & CI-CD cycle
- ** Good to Have**
- Experience in tools like Trello, Mural, Muro, Doodle Maker, Slack etc.
- Agile training experience for frameworks like Scrum, Kanban etc.
- Exposure of leading all-hands, offsites, scrum of scrums etc.
- Understanding of DevOps CI-CD end to end cycle

**Other Job Duties**
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader.

**Travel Requirements**
- Travel 10 %, including overnight travel, domestic & abroad (US and other delivery locations)

**Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills**
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering or Sciences
- Certifications like PSM-I / II, Kanban etc.
