**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking a high calibre, ambitious individual to join our team as a **Funds SME **.

Operations Strategy & Chance is a global team working together to manage and run the Change Portfolio for the Fund Services Business.

The team is accountable for ensuring change is implemented in line with the HSBC Change Framework by adopting the highest standards.

**What you’ll do**:
**Principal Responsibilities**
- Min. 5 years working experience working in Fund Admin
- Work with the PM and Business to understand and define requirements for all allocated projects
- Be the gatekeeper for all features and products that exist or have been prioritized within the Portfolio
- Drive the creation of user journeys, data flows, process flows based on the client requirements
- Champion cross-pod collaboration, to ensure any dependencies (such as data sourcing) are on track for delivery, mitigating any risk to the client commitment
- Manage the agile artefacts supporting the delivery work stream such as the epics, stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support the PO through independent management of risks, issues and delivery timelines
- Be able to define test cases and scenarios (regression and performance) with a view to supporting manual execution where required
- Be enthusiastic about learning new technologies and support the early adoption of Data and Digital Solution
- Promote the core values of: collaboration; continuous improvement and constructive challenges to ensure we are doing the "right" things

Requirements

**What you will need to succeed in the role**:
**Requirements**:

- Strong analytical skills to support performing gap analysis, root cause analysis and dissecting client requirements, to ensure delivery of the most optimal solution
- Confidence to ask questions and challenge in the right way to ensure the correct priorities are being delivered
- Experience with the Agile methodology and expertise in creating user stories & acceptance criteria to ensure complete product backlogs are complete
- A good understanding of Fund Services and the wider Securities Services business is advantageous but not essential
- Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and to deliver on time
