**Responsibilities**
- Study and interpret engineering drawings of RENK products (gear units, shafts, couplings, transmission parts) with attention to tolerances, finishes, and GD&T requirements.
- Identify, select, and set up appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining.
- Operate conventional lathe for turning, boring, threading, and facing of large precision components.
- Conduct in-process and final measurements using precision metrology instruments (micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial gauges, height gauges).
- Perform rework on parts by adjusting machine settings if dimensions deviate.
- Maintain job cards, production logs, and inspection records for traceability.
- Carry out basic preventive maintenance: lubrication, coolant checks, and alignment verification.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Handle raw material, semi-finished, and finished parts; ensure proper scrap disposal.
- Collaborate with quality and design teams for issue resolution and process improvements.

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent.
- 2-4 years’ experience in conventional lathe operation.
- Strong ability to read complex engineering drawings with GD&T.
- Proficiency in metrology and inspection methods.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and shop-floor safety.
- Discipline in maintaining production and inspection documentation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
