**Objective**: Provide an understanding of VLSI design and tools. Week 1: Fundamentals (12 hours) - Digital design basics, CMOS logic. - Verilog/VHDL basics. Week 2: Design and Tools (12 hours) - CAD tools for VLSI design. - ASIC vs FPGA design. Week 3: Project Work (12 hours) - Mini-project: Design a simple digital circuit. **Gamified Approach**: - **Logic Design Battles**: Teams compete to design the most efficient circuits. - **VLSI Circuit Escape**: Solve VLSI puzzles to move through levels of a virtual "circuit board." - **FPGA Challenges**: Implement and demonstrate designs on FPGA kits for scoring. **Rewards**: Recognition for speed, efficiency, and circuit complexity. **Objective**: Develop skills to work on embedded projects. Week 1: Basics (12 hours) - Microcontrollers and interfacing (Arduino/Raspberry Pi). - Sensors and actuators. Week 2: Embedded Programming (12 hours) - C/C++ for embedded systems. - Real-time systems basics.
