As an airline ticket agent, your main responsibility is to assist passengers in booking flights, issuing and changing tickets, and providing relevant information about flight schedules, routes, fares, and restrictions. You will work at the airport ticket counter or reservation center, interacting with customers and resolving their queries and concerns. In addition, you will be responsible for checking the passengers’ tickets, passports, visas, and other relevant documents, and ensuring their compliance with the airline and customs regulations. You will also collaborate with the other airline staff members, such as the air crew and ground personnel, to ensure a seamless travel experience for the passengers.
