Deployment Functional Analyst Key Roles & Responsibilities Act as a liaison between the deployment teams, PMO, build, and World Head Quarters (WHQ) functional teams Become an expert in both OTIS JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 Global Model and deployment methodology Train deployment teams on Global Model & deployment methodology Guide deployment teams through the deployment methodology - raising issues when needed Assist with Data Conversion (DC) issues experienced by active deployments Reinforce the need to drive standardization Provide guidance for site assessment, fit/gap analysis, and initial change request reviews Assess change request from deployment sites and make recommendations to World Head Quarters (WHQ) Work with business on process changes and workarounds to avoid gaps & change requests Provide 1st level support to deployment team inquiries and coordinate with World Head Quarters (WHQ) as needed Provide guidance to projects behind schedule and help create recovery plans Assist with Global Model configuration finalization and refinement Work with World Head Quarters (WHQ) to keep abreast of upcoming functionality that may impact deployments Represent the World Head Quarters (WHQ) functional teams in discussion with the deployment PMO and deployment teams Experience Required 4+ years of in-depth knowledge and understanding of the JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 Procurement Module At least 10 years overall IT experience in Distribution and Logistics domain Experience working on complex international projects with distributed teams Experience configuring and designing processes within the JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 Distribution and Logistics modules Practical knowledge of the JD Edwards integration points Practical knowledge of JD Edwards technical tools Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Work closely with implementation team to get the requirements in place Strong knowledge in Software development life cycle process (SDLC) Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint Knowledge of security, configuring and set ups within JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 Knowledge of Scheduler Jobs Experience working closely with a diverse development team Co-ordinate with Vendors and partners in developing solutions
