**Quality Testing**:

- Perform routine physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies.
- **Inspection and Monitoring**:

- Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Inspect products for visual defects and ensure proper labeling and packaging standards are followed.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Accurately record and analyze quality data in logs or software systems.
- Assist in preparing quality reports and documentation for audits or regulatory inspections.
- **Compliance and Auditing**:

- Assist in internal audits to ensure adherence to food safety standards such as HACCP, ISO, or FDA regulations.
- Support corrective action plans for non-conforming products or processes.
- **Equipment Calibration and Maintenance**:

- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
- **Training and Learning**:

- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to gain a deeper understanding of quality control processes and industry standards.
- Shadow experienced quality assurance staff to learn advanced techniques.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Suggest and implement small process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- **Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Familiarity with laboratory practices and testing methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Working Conditions**:
