The VMC Setter is responsible for setting up, programming (if required), and troubleshooting Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to ensure smooth production and maintain product quality. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and technical expertise in machining operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up VMC machines based on production plans and specifications.
- Mount and align tools, fixtures, and workpieces accurately.

**Tool Selection and Adjustment**:

- Choose appropriate cutting tools based on material and machining requirements.
- Calibrate tools for optimal cutting performance and ensure proper alignment.

**Programming and Editing**:

- Load CNC programs into VMC machines.
- Edit and troubleshoot G-code and M-code as needed to meet design requirements.

**Quality Control**:

- Inspect machined parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Perform first-off inspections and address deviations promptly.

**Troubleshooting and Maintenance**:

- Diagnose and resolve machining issues, including tool wear, alignment, and vibration problems.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on VMC machines to ensure optimal performance.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with production planners, operators, and quality control teams to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide guidance to operators and junior staff on machine operations and setups.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of setups, adjustments, and part inspections.
- Document program changes and machining parameters for future reference.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year
