**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Counseling Services**:

- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and approaches tailored to meet students' needs.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies based on assessment results.
- **Crisis Intervention**:

- Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support to students in distress.
- Develop safety plans and collaborate with families and staff during emergencies.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies that support student mental health and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention plans.
- **Educational Workshops**:

- Organize and conduct workshops and seminars on topics related to mental health, resilience, and emotional well-being for students, parents, and staff.
- Promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues within the school community.
- **Confidentiality and Ethical Standards**:

- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information and adhere to ethical guidelines in all counseling practices.
- Keep accurate and timely records of counseling sessions and interventions.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in school psychology and counseling.
- Attend training sessions, conferences, and workshops to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid counseling license or certification in accordance with state regulations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and counseling techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students’ mental health.
