**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Create 2D Piping Drawings**: Develop detailed 2D piping layout drawings, including plans, sections, and isometric views, using AutoCAD based on engineering designs and specifications.
- **Develop 3D Models**: Generate accurate 3D models of piping systems, incorporating all necessary components such as pipes, fittings, valves, and supports.
- **Coordinate with Engineering Teams**: Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
- **Update and Revise Drawings**: Modify existing 2D and 3D drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers, or client requirements.
- **Material Specifications**: Identify and specify materials required for piping systems, ensuring they comply with project specifications and industry standards.
- **Quality Assurance**: Review all drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
- **Documentation**: Maintain organized records of all drawings, revision histories, and associated documentation.
- **Support Fabrication and Installation**: Provide technical support during the fabrication and installation phases by supplying detailed drawings and addressing any queries related to the designs.
- **Field Verification**: Conduct site visits when necessary to verify measurements and ensure alignment with design intent.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Piping Draftsman, with expertise in both 2D and 3D AutoCAD.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong skills in both 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of piping design principles, including layout, isometrics, and material specifications.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ASTM).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and modeling.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with additional 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or similar.
- Experience in specific industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical.
