**Job Title: E/M CPT Medical Coder**
Experience: Minimum 1 year

**Salary**: ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 (Monthly Take Home)

Work Environment: Work from Office

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- E/M Coding: Accurately assign E/M CPT codes based on medical documentation in accordance with AMA Guidelines.
- Documentation Review: Analyze and interpret clinical documents to capture key elements such as history, examination, and medical decision-making (MDM).
- Compliance: Ensure coding practices meet regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA and CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) requirements.
- Audit and Validation: Participate in internal audits and validation of coded information to maintain accuracy.
- Query Management: Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate code assignment.
- Denial Management: Assist in resolving claims denials by ensuring correct E/M coding.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on changes to E/M coding guidelines and participate in ongoing training as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or equivalent certification from AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) or AHIMA.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of E/M guidelines, AMA's CPT codes, and coding regulations.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in E/M coding and medical documentation analysis.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure coding accuracy.
- Compliance Familiarity: Understanding of CMS guidelines and payer-specific policies related to E/M services.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with ICD-10 and HCPCS Level II codes.
- Experience with medical billing systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
