**General Insurance Job Description**:
General insurance covers a wide range of insurance products beyond just motor, including home, health, life, and travel insurance. The role in general insurance involves selling, managing, and processing insurance policies for various types of coverage.

**Experience : 1year - 2 year**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales & Marketing**:

- Sell various types of general insurance products such as property, health, life, travel, and more.
- Identify potential clients and develop strategies to meet sales targets.
- Educate clients about available products, terms, and conditions.
- **Policy Underwriting**:

- Evaluate risk for different types of general insurance policies (property, casualty, etc.).
- Set policy premiums, terms, and conditions based on risk evaluation.
- **Claims Handling**:

- Investigate claims made under general insurance policies.
- Liaise with policyholders and claimants to collect necessary documentation.
- Ensure that claims are processed efficiently and fairly, in line with company policies.
- **Customer Service & Retention**:

- Provide ongoing customer support and assistance with policy renewals, modifications, and claim statuses.
- Resolve customer complaints and address concerns about coverage.
- Promote customer retention by delivering high-quality service and understanding customer needs.
- **Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Ensure that policies adhere to local and international insurance regulations.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend adjustments to policies or premiums.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of various general insurance products.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical skills for assessing claims, risk, and policy adjustments.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with insurance regulations, industry trends, and compliance standards.

**Experience Required**:

- Previous experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
- Sales, marketing, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Certification or a degree in insurance or related fields can be beneficial.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
