Cost Estimator

Provide accurate cost estimates for Fabrication projects, Civil Construction, and Electrical & Instrumentation whichever applicable but not restricted to.
- Should be able to understand Should be costing based on detailed analysis
- Develop and maintain cost databases, templates, and models in Excel or other relevant tools to ensure consistency and accuracy in cost estimation processes.
- Engage in effective communication with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate quotation submissions by vendors to our clients for respective jobs with utmost accuracy and cost competitiveness.
- Collaborate with the Business development team, Client success team, Vendor management team and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Cost Estimation Engineer with a strong background in cost estimation for machine enclosures & supporting frames; architectural structure fabrication such as Pre-Engineered Buildings/structures, stairways etc; equipment fabrication such as process vessels for example tanks, reactors, pressure vessels etc.

As a Cost Estimation engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate project costing, reviewing vendor quotations and collaborating with vendors to guide them for prompt and accurate quotations. This will be an individual contributor role in the beginning with future scope of building the team based on the variability of scope and growth prospects.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Utilise your expertise of cost estimation in assessing the cost of raw material, bought out components and final equipment post fabrication. This will involve arriving at final cost estimation for machine enclosures & supporting frames; structure fabrication such as OEM manufactured equipments applicable in different industries such as Metal & Mining, Paper & Pulp, Automotive, FMCG, Pharma etc..
- Analyse technical specifications (project/CapEx/OpEx requirements and specifications), project requirements, and vendor quotations to derive precise cost estimates for equipment procurement and project execution.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of project specifications, drawings, and relevant documentation to gain a thorough understanding of project scope, requirements, and limitations.

- Collaborate with the Business development team, Client success team, Vendor management team and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Prepare cost and expenditure statements, reports and other necessary documentation at regular intervals to share with others in the business.
- Gather proposals, specifications and related documents and liaise with stakeholders in order to convert specifications to cost estimates for new and current products.
- Establish a network of related professionals and manage vendor & supplier relationships for accurate pricing.
- 6-10 years of experience in the Industrial sector.
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production & Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or the equivalent.
- Proficient in utilising cost estimation techniques and software tools.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, BOM/ BOQs, RFQs and tech-spec documents.
- Proactively contributes to the team.

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
