Ms Transmission Expert

As MS Transmission Expert person will perform fault and configuration management activities to serve the customer directly or through customer interface, under supervision and following defined procedures. Will be implementing in-depth knowledge of transmission technology, troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrate expertise in telecom networks and elements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Analyze and design transmission topologies, leveraging knowledge in Microwave, Fiber, and IPRAN technology.
- Operate and troubleshoot Marconi, Fujitsu, Alcatel, Philips muxes, Nokia, and Ciena DWDMs, with strong analytical skills in NMS.
- Master OTN, Ethernet, and IP technologies used in transmission domains, ensuring seamless operation and integration.
- Manage remote delivery and collaborate with field teams for troubleshooting and configuration of transmission systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve TXN interfaces in mobile networks (IuB/IuCs, IuPS, GB, Abis, Ater) in both TDM and packet environments.
- Coordinate fault resolution by collaborating with field teams, 3rd-party fiber providers, and infra teams, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Resolve issues remotely, guide on-the-ground teams, and perform change activities to meet customer requirements promptly.

**You have**:

- 8-12 years of experience with a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Must have a strong understanding of Protocols: TCP/IP, IPv4 & IPv6 addressing & IP subnetting, VLAN's, Ethernet, SNMP, management (Telnet, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, TACACS+)
- Proficiency in Designing, Implementing & Troubleshooting IP/MPLS Network core and services design, including L2 VPNs and L3 VPNs, Seamless MPLS, Segment Routing.
- Analyse and resolve network hardware and software connectivity issues.
- Network Tools analysis for capacity planning and proactive fault finding.

**It would be nice if you also had**:

- Knowledge & Hands-on experiences of protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), signaling protocols (RSVP-TE, LDP).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, NRS-I, NRS-II) are a plus.
- 24X7 availability for team and client.
