As a small team, we’re constantly picking up new challenges. As a UI Product Designer you will be the key stakeholder for the visual experience of the feature you are building for Zamp. You will actively work with the Front End team to make sure that the visual components support the functionality and hierarchy guidelines provided. It is your responsibility to effectively communicate feature behavior and feedback to the user via the user interface - be it using form, colour, typography, audio or haptic feedback, motion and anything else that the user can interact with.

**Day to day tasks**:

- Design digital experiences and information architecture of our product - the online platforms (primarily web) and mobile apps/widgets
- Creative problem solving by taking what is working and what is not working in current banking alternatives, addressing complex communication/information architecture challenges
- Collaborate with different stakeholders within and outside the company and iterate on feedback from visitors/customers/potential users
- Maintain visual and stylistic consistency in components with the brand and it's guidelines

**Requirements**:

- Thorough in your Design Process - Framing a problem statement, iterating & validating diverse approaches to a solution, executing the same and finally monitoring the execution to evolve the solution
- Function over Form thinking - Understanding that visual design is meant to aid purpose/functionality of a feature
- Understanding of Visual elements like color, typography, negative space, graphic forms and using them to drive user action
- 2+ years of experience working as a Product Designer

**Technical Requirements**:

- Hands-On sketching experience to quickly illustrate ideas to stakeholders
- Hands-On UI design experience (Sketch is preferred over Adobe XD, Figma)
- Hands-On experience with Zeplin or similar for red-lining and front-end execution
- Hands-On Adobe Creative Suite - Specifically Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

**Good to have**:

- Knowledge of implementing and evolving a design system to bring consistency in style and form across a platform
- Worked on Products with Payment loops and Transactions
