Job Description

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for REST API testing using Java + Rest Assured.
- Write robust, scalable, and reusable automation scripts using TestNG and Cucumber (BDD).
- Independently manage and enhance automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations.
- Perform REST API testing using Postman for quick validations and debugging.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Implement best practices for test automation, code versioning, and documentation using GitHub.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain code quality, and enforce standards.
- Maintain proper test data management and environment setup for reliable test execution.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Strong programming experience with Java for test automation.
- Proficiency in REST Assured for REST API testing.
- Hands-on with TestNG, BDD (Cucumber), and IntelliJ IDEA.
- Experience with Maven for project management and dependency control.
- Working knowledge of Postman for API testing and debugging.
- Good understanding of RESTful web services and JSON/XML data formats.
- Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Ability to independently manage automation frameworks and contribute to automation strategy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Nice to Have**:
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
