TITLE**:US TAX PREPARER**

LOCATION: 401, VIVA ATELIER, NEAR STATUE CIRCLE, NARANPURA, AHMEDABAD 380013
WORK HOURS: 07:30PM TO 04:30AM IST (MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY)

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs required.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Accurate math and accounting skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- An Individual should have previous experience of at least 2 years with Tax Preparation of US Corps including 1080, 1120 and 1120s.
- Exposure and or experience either or multiple tools including but not limited QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Tally, MYOB, SAP and Accounting CS.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Consults with clients to develop a basic understanding of their financial affairs and the scope of their tax liabilities.
- Reviews previous tax returns and financial documents to identify missing or incomplete information or documentation.
- Uses the appropriate accounting software or system to prepare tax returns.
- Calculates taxes owed or refunds due to client; consults tax law publications for guidance on unusual situations.
- Files tax returns for clients.
- Maintains understanding and knowledge of changes in tax law by reading professional literature or attending tax seminars and training courses.
- Review a variety of financial documents to prepare tax returns and provide tax services
- Interview clients as needed to determine the best path for their needs
