**SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT**

**Position Overview**

Solutions Architect lays the foundation for development, principles, standards, and technologies that will guide the design and execution of activities. Directly responsible for the development and maintenance of the architecture and associated technology roadmap. This position ensures business objectives aligning to Information Technology strategy and policy are accomplished through established, implemented and executed plans & tactics.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Must be able to
- Describe the structure, characteristics, behaviour, and other aspects of the software to business stakeholders
- Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
- Maintain current and future state architectural models for a specific business unit
- Proven experience in Marketplace business domain, tools and technology platform.
- Strong understanding of online marketplace business models, ecosystems, and associated technologies.
- Experience in leading API Integrations with Marketplaces like Amazon ,FlipKart, Myntra, or Snapdeal
- Responsible for conducting regular design and code reviews, and share constructive feedback with team members
- Manage gaps
- Interface with IT and business leaders to maintain technology and business road maps
- Lead in mainstreaming new technologies, systems and solutions
- Represent specific business area(s) interest in the advancement of the state of architecture
- Learn from project teams about the "things that work" and make recommendations to improve best practices and standards
- Lead in identifying and recommending design alternatives for business systems
- Conduct architectural reviews of business unit solutions to improve quality and reinforce best practices
- Lead in the design of business unit solutions
- Provide thought leadership in at least one functional area

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in an IT related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0, or relevant work experience
- Passionate about product development, and significant expertise in.NET WebAPI,.Net Core, C#, ReactJS, Node JS, MongoDB, SQL Server etc.
- Extensive hands-on experience in development / coding in relevant technologies
- Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills
- Credible, confident and articulate, with excellent communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills, and deliver ideas clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Knowledge of business systems in at least one line of business

Novice understanding of and working experience with:

- Monitoring product capabilities
- Business case creation
- Financial impact and cost benefit analysis techniques
- Intermediate and transformation tool functionality and usage
- Relational database concepts and design
- Business Intelligence and data warehousing development techniques
- Architectural modeling and approaches and tools
- SOA concepts and practices
- Application development, infrastructure or database disciplines
- Application development languages, deployment platforms, content management and BPM/workflow tools and methodologies
- Security concepts and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in IT
