EDB & Open source PostgreSQL Installation, setting up replication and failover manager.
Configuration of Master-Slave setup, and performing DR switchover and switchback.
Ensures security/CIS Baseline implementation of EDB & Open source PostgreSQL DB’s.
Shell scripting for automatic monitoring of PostgreSQL Databases.
Setting up and configuring of different types of backups and recovery of a PostgreSQL databases.
Managing User Access and User access reviews.
Managing schema objects like tables, indexes, views, constraints etc.
Migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
Upgradation of PostgreSQL from lower version to higher version.
Migration from EDB to Opensource.
Query Tuning, suggestions, recommendation for better performance.
PostgreSQL DB Deployments - Execution of CR’s
Working on user requests which we gets in Remedy - Access creation, granting privileges, data refresh, new requirements etc.
Co-ordination with EDB Support reams.
Basic knowledge of other RDBMS like Oracle, MSSQL etc.

Working on user requests which we gets in Remedy - Access creation, granting privileges, data refresh, new requirements etc.
