**Location**: MAGJ Hospital, Mookkannoor

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified **Medical Coder** to accurately assign diagnostic and procedural codes to patient health records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS classification systems. The medical coder will play a key role in ensuring correct billing, insurance reimbursement, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze medical records and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on physician documentation and medical reports.
- Ensure codes meet all federal, state, legal, and insurance regulations.
- Work with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify diagnosis or obtain additional information when needed.
- Submit coded claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and insurance rules.
- Assist in audits, quality assurance reviews, and compliance checks.
- Protect patient confidentiality by following HIPAA and data privacy regulations.

Pay: From ₹5,000.00 per month
