Test Automation Architect job description: Key Responsibilitiesand skills expected
- 1. **AutomationFramework Development**:

- Design and developscalable and maintainable enterprise level automation frameworks.
- Implement bestpractices for test automation to ensure reusability and reliability.

2. **ToolSelection and Implementation**:

- Evaluate,select, and implement appropriate test automation tools.
- Stay updated onemerging tools and technologies in the test automation space.
- Proficiency in Selenium-Java, UFT and API testingtool like Rest Assured, Postman
- Experience in ALM, JIRA or any other test management tools
- Experience in implementing CI/CD using Jenkins, Azure DevOps

3.**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate withproject owners and testing teams to understand project requirements.
- Showcase automationbenefits and progress being achieved to project owners

4. **TestStrategy Planning**:

- Develop and implement acomprehensive test automation strategy.
- Define and prioritizetest scenarios for automation based on critical business processes.

5.**Programming and Scripting**:

- Possessstrong programming skills to write and maintain automated test scripts.
- Proficiencyin languages like Java, VB
- Good to have proficiency in Python, or othercommonly used languages in test automation.

6. **ContinuousImprovement**:

- Identifyareas for continuous improvement in the test automation process.
- Implement feedbackloops to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

7. **TestCoverage and Analysis**:

- Ensure comprehensivetest coverage through automated tests.
- Analyze test resultsand provide insights for continuous quality improvement.

8. **Trainingand Mentorship**:

- Provide guidance andmentorship to team members on test automation best practices.
- Conduct trainingsessions to enhance the skills of the testing team.

9.**Documentation**:

- Create andmaintain documentation for automation processes, frameworks, and test cases.
- Ensure documentation isaccessible and understandable to team members.
