Position Overview: As an IT Intern specializing in Website Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning, security, and optimal performance of our organization's website. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in web development, troubleshooting, and IT support, contributing to your professional growth in the field of Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
**Website Updates and Content Management**:Assist in updating website content, including text, images, videos, and other media.
Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure accurate and timely updates.
Implement changes using content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.

**Troubleshooting and Bug Fixes**:Identify and resolve technical issues related to website functionality, layout, and performance.
Collaborate with developers to fix bugs, broken links, and other issues.
Conduct testing to ensure a consistent user experience across various browsers and devices.

**Security and Data Protection**:Assist in implementing security measures to safeguard the website against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Regularly update software, plugins, and extensions to maintain a secure environment.
Monitor and mitigate risks, such as malware, phishing attacks, and data breaches.

**Performance Optimization**:Work on optimizing website loading speed and overall performance.
Optimize images, scripts, and other elements to enhance user experience and SEO rankings.
Monitor website traffic and analyze performance metrics to suggest improvements.

**Backup and Disaster Recovery**:Contribute to the implementation of backup strategies to ensure data integrity and quick recovery in case of data loss.
Test and verify backup systems regularly to ensure they are functional.

**Collaboration and Communication**:Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and content creators.
Communicate effectively with team members to understand and address website-related needs.

**Documentation**:Maintain documentation of website changes, updates, and fixes.
Create user guides or tutorials to help internal stakeholders manage basic website tasks.

Qualifications:

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

**Salary**: From ₹120,000.00 per year
