The Role

As Mainframe CICS System Programmer Specialist, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

1. Installation, upgrade and maintenance of CICS and related products.

2. Sound knowledge in SMPE

3. Experience in problem determination, performance tuning, setting security and web enabling CICS.

4. Set up and maintain CICS regions.

5. Technical guidance to the team.

6. Good Knowledge in Disaster Recovery

7. Primary on call support for upgrading/installing and migrating CICS Transaction servers

8. Diagnose CICS system and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis

9.Vendor coordination & ticket coordination

10. Business knowledge, Application team coordination

11.Experience in supporting PROD environments.

12.Excellent Communication skills

13. Strong troubleshooting
