Chief Financial Officer

**Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Location: Little Russel Street, Kolkata**

**Job Summary**:
The CFO will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring long-term financial stability, and helping guide strategic decisions to support the company’s growth and profitability in the jute manufacturing industry. The CFO will work closely with other executive leaders to set financial goals, assess business risks, and drive profitability while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
l Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives.

l Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting to optimize financial performance.

l Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and profitability enhancement within the manufacturing process.

l Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, for senior management and stakeholders.

l Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the company’s performance and make recommendations to the CEO/Board.

l Oversee financial modelling, cash flow management, and profitability analysis.

l Monitor financial risks related to the company’s operations, including currency fluctuations, raw material costs, and global market conditions.

l Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.

l Oversee audits, tax filings, and reporting processes to ensure the company meets regulatory requirements.

l Manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring liquidity to support ongoing operations and capital expenditures.

l Develop strategies to optimize working capital, especially with respect to managing raw material procurement, production, and inventory management.

l Negotiate and manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing options.

l Lead the finance and accounting teams, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high performance.

l Foster a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement within the department.

l Collaborate with other departments, including production, supply chain, and sales, to understand the financial implications of operational decisions.

l Support executive leadership by providing data-driven insights for strategic business decisions, including new investments, acquisitions, and expansion plans.

l Evaluate and advise on capital expenditure plans for machinery, equipment, and plant expansions.

l Drive strategic initiatives, such as cost-saving measures and profit maximization strategies specific to the manufacturing sector.

l Maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and other key stakeholders.

l Report financial performance and strategic goals to the board of directors, shareholders, and other stakeholders.

l Present financial updates and performance metrics during board meetings.

l Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the company adapts to sustainability practices and remains competitive in the global market for jute products.

l Identify innovative approaches to financial and manufacturing processes to increase productivity and profitability.

l Preparation of CMA Data & liaison with Bank for loans and credit facilities.

**Qualifications**:
l Education: CA

l Experience: At least 20 years of experience in senior finance leadership role, with significant experience in listed manufacturing sector (preferably in jute / têxtiles or similar manufacturing industries).

**Skills**:
l In-depth knowledge of financial management, reporting, and accounting principles.

l Strong understanding of cost management, supply chain finance, and capital expenditure planning in a manufacturing environment.

l Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software.

l Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

l Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
