**Job Description: Purchase Executive (Import & Export) in the Jewelry Industry**
As a Purchase Executive specializing in Import & Export within the Jewelry Industry, your primary responsibility will be to manage the procurement and sourcing activities of jewelry products, raw materials, and accessories from both domestic and international markets. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company's inventory is well-stocked with high-quality jewelry products, and that all import and export processes are in compliance with relevant regulations.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Sourcing and Procurement**: Identify potential suppliers and manufacturers both domestically and internationally to source high-quality jewelry products, raw materials, and accessories. Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, new products, and cost-effective sources.
- **Negotiation and Contracting**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions. Ensure all contractual obligations are met, including obtaining required documents and certifications.
- **Import and Export Compliance**: Oversee the import and export processes, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation procedures. Coordinate with shipping agencies, customs authorities, and logistics personnel to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.
- **Inventory Management**: Collaborate with the inventory and sales teams to forecast demand, plan procurement activities, and maintain optimum stock levels. Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce costs and minimize excess inventory.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure that all jewelry products, raw materials, and accessories meet the company's quality standards. Collaborate with the quality assurance department to resolve any quality-related issues.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring consistent product quality, on-time delivery, and favorable pricing. Conduct regular supplier evaluation and performance reviews to foster long-term partnerships.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or similar role within the jewelry industry, with a focus on import and export activities.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in supplier sourcing, evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with inventory management and procurement software systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
**Salary**: ₹9,882.33 - ₹37,418.42 per month
