Profile
- Purchase Executive

Work Location: Mumbai

ctc : Upto 5 lpa (Depends on interview)

Experience: 4+years

Working day: Monday to Saturday.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement Planning**:

- Identify the goods and services needed by different departments.
- Develop procurement plans and ensure timely availability of supplies.

**Supplier Management**:

- Research and identify potential suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers to ensure reliable and quality service.

**Purchase Order Management**:

- Create and issue purchase orders based on requisitions.
- Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure that orders are placed according to company policies and budget.

**Inventory Control**:

- Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure stock is managed efficiently.
- Conduct regular stock audits to avoid shortages or overstocking.

**Cost Management**:

- Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery terms.
- Work within budgets and find ways to reduce procurement costs without compromising on quality.

**Quality Control**:

- Ensure that purchased items meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Handle returns or replacements for defective or incorrect items.

**Record Keeping & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, expenditures, and supplier performance for management.

**Compliance & Documentation**:

- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.

**Problem Resolution**:

- Address any issues related to delays, incorrect shipments, or quality concerns with suppliers.
- Resolve disputes and ensure that goods or services meet agreed-upon terms.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other departments, like finance, production, and logistics, to understand their needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory or supply chain management are a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse or storekeeping, preferably in the marine industry or related sectors.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Knowledge of marine equipment, tools, and materials is an advantage.

**Working Conditions**:

- Possible need for occasional evening or weekend shifts, depending on operational requirements.

Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
