**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct **inward inspection** of raw materials and subcontracted parts.
- Verify and maintain incoming inspection reports, checklists, and records.
- Ensure supplier quality compliance based on drawings and technical specifications.
- Check and verify that **all required documents for subcontracted parts** are available.
- Ensure compliance with **engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards** for all incoming material
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation as per ISO/QA standards.
- Communicate with vendors for quality issues and support corrective/preventive actions.
- Assist in audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier quality.

**Key Skills**:

- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2d **drawings**..
- Sound knowledge of mechanical drawings and quality standards.
- Familiarity with inward quality control processes in a **machine shop**.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of **ISO 9001:2015** or other relevant quality management systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing industry.
