**Job Title**: Quality Inspector

**Reports To**: Quality Manager / Production Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards through inspections, testing, and documentation. This role is essential for identifying defects, recommending improvements, and supporting continuous quality improvement efforts across the production cycle.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform in-process and final inspections of products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect components.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste.
- Identify non-conforming materials and escalate issues to the Quality Manager or relevant departments.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Maintain calibration of inspection equipment.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Support internal and external audits.
