A Business Liaison Executive will support training, outreach, and data analytics to enable evidence-based business prospecting for F1000. Supporting Business team in closing existing pipeline and garnering new prospects from Academic Institutions, Corporate funders, medical societies, and Research organizations.

Works collaboratively with clients to proactively drive content to client owned F1000 platform /Gateway. The role requires understanding of research publishing with sound knowledge of ethic in research writing to ensure effective delivery of service in line with requirements, contractual agreements, and industry standards.

The role holder is required to innovate ways to engage prospective clients through backdrop research to garner facts about their research output, objectives and challenges they face to meet them.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Acting as a central point of contact for day-to-day operations between contracted clients and F1000 sales and editorial teams.
- Occasionally presenting F1000 publishing model during webinars and one-one discussions with prospects.
- Liaison with UK F1000 editorial and support teams for client support.
- Liaison with Marketing team to plan promotion campaigns, webinars, and other effective ways of client engagement.
- Developing and maintaining a detailed and up to date knowledge of industry standards and new developments in of Open Access publishing arena.

**Qualifications**

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Knowledge and experience of academic research publishing
- Knowledge of Open Access Publishing and latest trends and Key OA publishing service providers and their models
- Experience of account management or building effective working relationships with third parties
- Experience of facilitation and conflict resolution.
- Project management skills
- Understanding of other specialist technology or systems as required by the specific role (desirable)
- Financial, industry and market awareness
