**Job description**

A Store cum Purchase executive with 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry and responsible for identifying purchasing materials, managing inventory /store, and scouting / shortlisting of vendors/suppliers.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Buying Materials of the desired quality at competitive prices on time.
- Monitoring & maintaining optimum inventory levels for all class of materials.
- Complete responsibility of maintenance of inventory and stores. Properly handle and stock materials received from vendors, ensuring easy access, identification, verification, and maintenance. Implement appropriate methods of care and preservation to prevent damage and loss
- Regularly monitor and take inventory to maintain stock levels and meet operational needs. Uphold par levels and address inventory requirements. Material reconciliation
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers/vendors of material in the industry.
- Negotiating favorable terms and contracts with suppliers, including price, delivery schedules, and quality standards as per the specifications.
- Ensuring that all procured construction material/equipment meets or exceeds quality and performance standards.
- Reviewing purchase requisitions for technical specifications
- Coordinate with vendors for timely shipment and delivery of material to concerned project site.
- Maintain clear and organized records, filing reports and invoices systematically. Verify goods received against purchase agreements and promptly address discrepancies. Preparing of Goods receipt note and submission of all invoice to the accounts department.
- Preparing internal cost estimates, BOQ and MIS pertaining to stores and inventory.
