Production Supervisor

Ornaware Finesse Private Limited is engaged in Manufacturing of Textile Made-up goods like Bags, Boxes, Cases, Kits, Pouches and related accessories.

*Job Summary:*

We are looking for a Production Supervisor for our Production Unit located at Duttapukur, 24 Parganas (N) would be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the production team to ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of garments. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of Textile Fabrics / Garment or Apparel production processes, and a focus on quality control, safety standards, and productivity.

## Key Responsibilities:
1. *Production Planning and Scheduling:*
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., cutting, printing, sewing, finishing) to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.

2. *Team Management:*
- Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of engagement and productivity.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance the skills of team members.

3. *Quality Control:*
- Monitor the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to minimize defects and improve product quality.

4. *Compliance and Safety:*
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards in the production area.
- Ensure overall cleanliness and upkeep of the production unit.

5. *Performance Monitoring:*
- Track production metrics and KPIs to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Report production status, challenges, and achievements to the Production Manager.

6. *Problem Solving:*
- Address and resolve any production-related issues, including equipment malfunctions and workflow disruptions.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure that machinery is functioning efficiently.

7. *Inventory Management:*
- Monitor and manage raw materials and inventory levels to ensure continuous production flow.
- Coordinate with procurement to order necessary materials and supplies.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
