A travel agent assists clients with making travel plans. From helping clients settle on a destination to presenting them with travel and hotel options, a travel agent makes the process of traveling as easy as possible. A travel agent also has a general understanding of local tourist attractions and can offer itineraries and tours upon a client's arrival. Many travel agents have extensive experience with personal travel or have a history on a cruise ship or airline travel. They are usually hired by travel agencies, airlines or by cruise ships in order to assist clients in enjoying their time on vacation.

Responsibilities for Travel Agent
- Book air and ground transportation for clients
- Research to locate the best pricing and options according to client's specifications.
- Work to meet weekly and monthly sales goals as established by the company.
- Promote tours and vacation excursions through local media and PR channels.
- Coordinate with other business partners in the travel community to facilitate a positive experience for clients.
- Book hotel reservations for guests in their desired location, ensuring their specifications for their stay are met.
- Organize and provide materials pertaining to potential locations and local tours to clients.
- Plan and promote accommodations and travel services.
- Call customer daily using different lead platforms provided by the company.
- Fill the details in the CRM and follow up on documents.
- Ensure accuracy while filling up documents.
- Coordinate with vendors and our consultants for any travel needs.

Qualifications for Travel Agent
- Proven experience organizing travel for business or personal use.
- Exceptional organizational skills are essential.
- Fluent in English, Kannada, any additional languages are preferred for communication with clients internationally & locally.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Personal experience with both domestic and international travel is considered advantageous.
- Ability to understand clients travel goals and needs and exceed their expectations.
- Proficient with data entry and Microsoft
- Experience processing payment information and working with confidential information.
- Ability to locate the ideal travel options for clients upon a scheduled meeting detailing their travel aspirations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bangalore City, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (required)

**Experience**:

- 1.5: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Kannada (preferred)
