Store In-charge

The Store In-Charge will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the site. The role ensures timely availability of materials, prevents pilferage, maintains accurate records, and supports smooth project execution.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Material Management**:

- Receive, verify, and store incoming materials as per purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage, deterioration, or loss.
- Issue materials to site teams against approved requisitions and maintain stock control.
- **Inventory Control & Documentation**:

- Maintain updated stock registers (manual/ERP) with receipts, issues, and balance.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliation with accounts/procurement.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material consumption and stock reports.
- **Coordination & Compliance**:

- Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and accounts for material requirements and records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and audit requirements.
- Monitor return of unused/extra materials from site to stores and keep proper records.
- **Safety & Housekeeping**:

- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure proper storage practices.
- Safeguard materials and equipment against theft, fire, and damage.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Graduate / Diploma in any discipline (preferred: Diploma in Materials Management / Supply Chain).
- 5-8 years of experience in store management, preferably in construction / infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and inventory management software is desirable.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
