POSITION - Communications Associate

Full time position

Base Location - Ahmedabad

Experience - 2+ years in a communications/journalism/ media profile preferable. Freshers with the right skill and having done internships in communications can also apply.

Scope of work

1) To own the organisations newsletter and take care of it end-to

2) Keep track of engagement and other data on newsletter, record and analyse with every volume.

3) Podcast - Brainstorm with the team regarding topics, background research, draft questions, conceptualise storyline, audio record and coordinate audio editing of the podcast, and ensure timely dissemination.

4) Record and analyse podcast engagement data; strategies to increase engagement of podcast and run campaigns to increase engagement.

5) Creating processes and SOPs for both the podcast and newsletter.

6) Articles - to develop articles about SEWA Cooperative Federation and publish in various media regularly and to explore media partnerships for the organisation.

7) Regular updation - content and design of the website.

8) Training and building capacity of communication in a team of young grassroots women.

9) Work closely with women’s collective enterprises and document their stories of change and impact

10) Be a part of social media strategy development, and gathering secondary research and stories from the ground in line with the strategy to share with the social media team

11) Write, compile, edit and design the annual report of the organisation

12) Coordinate with women’s enterprises for their communications needs and develop collaterals with the team as necessary.

13) Be part of and help the communications team execute events for SEWA

Cooperative Federation and other organisational communications needs, as it arises

14) Regular documentation of work and processes.

**Salary**: ₹18,642.14 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
